We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Purchasing and Logistics Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our purchasing and logistics operations to ensure smooth and efficient flow of goods and materials in and out of our organization.
As a Purchasing and Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating shipments, and assisting in the procurement process. You will be expected to analyze market trends, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
The ideal candidate for this position is proactive, highly organized, and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills. You should have a keen eye for detail, be able to multitask effectively, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement process, including vendor management, negotiation, and order placement
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Coordinate the shipment of goods with internal teams as well as external suppliers and logistics providers
- Prepare and process purchase orders and invoices in compliance with company policies
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
- Assist in managing supplier relationships, evaluating performance, and resolving any supply chain issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management principles
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php16, Php18,000.00 per month
