
Purchasing Assistant

We're looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team We are looking for a self-driven, analytical thinker who is comfortable operating both in the detail as well as being able to see the bigger picture.
This role will see you working closely with Planners, Operations, Sales, and Product Teams to purchase orders are sent, tracked, and received accurately and on time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and send purchase orders daily.
- Track Purchase orders ensuring on time delivery
- Create Shipments.
- Receipt Purchase Orders.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Additional tasks as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of Purchasing Administration with experience in creating allocations manually via Excel.
- Intermediate Excel Skillset, with experience having applied skillset to reporting tasks.
- Solid analytical capabilities with some experience in reporting databases.
- Prior experience in a Retail of FCMG store level role, highly desired.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of problem-solving abilities, with a high level of resilience when common problems re-appear.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to share or embrace new ideas.
