A Chef will focus on developing and scaling recipes for high-volume production. This role involves creating and refining recipes that can be consistently executed in large-scale settings like restaurants, food service facilities, or food processing plants. They also work on improving existing recipes, ensuring food quality, and maintaining adherence to safety and cost standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a wide variety of food items for mass production, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Develop new recipes and menu items, considering market trends and customer preferences.
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
  • Oversee inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing food costs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to HACCP principles and safety standards.
  • Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mass production and food development, preferably in a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing business.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, including HACCP.
  • Excellent cooking skills and ability to develop creative and innovative recipes.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and technology used in food production.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of food trends and consumer preferences.
  • Experience with inventory management software and food costing systems.
  • Ability to develop and implement new food production processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Starting Salary: Php 28,000.00 and up
