Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, being the Kitchen Manager of Middleby demo Kitchen, the Sales Application Chefs is responsible to support the sales and marketing team to drive activities in achieving company goals. Any given task needs to be prioritized accordingly to better ensure efficiency and safety. The incumbent is expected to carry a leadership role of the culinary team and regularly work in team situations that require both flexibility and efficient oral and written communication in Mandarin and English.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient in day to day tasks and supports the sales in presenting items to customers from a culinary point of view;
  • Conducting Middleby's Cooking Live events and product training;
  • Initiate, planning and implementing new product development projects;
  • Brainstorming ideas for new products or existing product modifications or add-ons;
  • Sourcing raw materials and ingredients;
  • Provide input for equipment scoping;
  • Contribute to customer's menu development;
  • Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence customer's decision;
  • Maintaining long-term relationships with local trading partners and dealers;
  • Organizing and implementing local marketing activities to attract and win new customers;
  • Monitoring and supporting local business partners;
  • Arranging meetings with potential customers and developing sales opportunities;
  • Exemplifies excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations;
  • Create and maintains a clean, efficient, hygienic, organized, and positive working environment;
  • Ensure quality control and efficient workflow;
  • Participating in exhibitions and trade shows;

QUALIFICATION

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Culinary Degree is preferred;
  • Strong culinary background and passion for food and cooking;
  • Previous work experience in Application Sales, preferably in the same industry;
  • Strong knowledge of food health and safety regulation, and understand the standard operating procedures and inspection regulation;
  • Proven track record in developing concepts, and have an eye for detail and creativity to look at things differently;
  • Display Strong leadership skill is a must; capable to lead and influence;
  • Strong team spirit and guest hospitality;
  • Able to work independently as well as being a part of our passionate team;
  • Outgoing and convincing personality to build customer relationships;
  • Display good work ethic, resourceful, and organize;
  • Experienced in MS Office

  • Good Communication skill, Fluent in English with proficiency in Mandarin as an advantage

  • Work Location: Binan Techno Park
