Operational Procurement Specialist

Overall Objectives:

  • To support company operations with an uninterrupted flow of materials and services.
  • To ensure the seamless, cost-effective, and timely procurement of non-standard items, machines and equipment and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan the strategic directions on sourcing, market intelligence, supplier relations and performance measurement, and process efficiency improvement.
  • Negotiate prices of Non-standard items, machines and equipment with suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier rating, evaluation and qualification, conduct supplier partnership meetings.
  • Drives P2P by conducting RFQ, bidding/canvassing or whatever tool is available for required commodity in order to ensure best buy.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional BU's on meeting metrics and attend to any supply, delivery and payment concerns.
  • Performs SAP related matters.
  • Collect, consolidate and report section metrics.
  • Prepares and maintain Operational Procurement procedures.
  • Perform self-audit.
  • Support to Strategic Sourcing Team.
  • Ensures Business Control and Ethics Compliance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Course or Equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3years experience in Operational Procurement.
  • Has extensive experience handing different external suppliers and 3PL Providers.
  • Amenable to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa.
  • CAN START BY JANUARY 2024.
