Small Business Customers originating through ANZ Gobiz, ANZ's Online Lending Application channel for fast and easy online business loans and overdrafts. Your key responsibilities include preprocessing new lending applications and delivering exceptional customer service over the phone & email to our commercial customers, following best practices. This involves conducting initial evaluations of loan applications, customer profiles, and financial documents.

As the Small Business Banking Consultant, you will:Responsible for accurate and timely completion of the Pre-processing of Small Business GoBiz ApplicationsInbound and Outbound communication with customers and internal stakeholders via Telephone and Email.

Conducts checks before processing, ensuring all documents' details are accurate and properly verified (where applicable). Exercising sound judgement through initial scrutiny of application

Ensure lending requests are fulfilled and comply with legal and regulatory frameworks

Work collaboratively with Assessment and fulfilment teams to deliver excellent quality customer outcomes

Effective workflow/queue management and prioritising urgent applications.Take initiative to identify potential process or services improvements

Engage in collaborative conversations with your leader; discuss performance and self-development opportunities.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.An eye for detail with strong analytical skills, and the ability to assess risks.Basic understanding on how to interpret and analyse financial statements

Stakeholder management skills. Ability to build rapport with internal and external contacts to collaborate effectively.Foundational skills in servicing customers, including the ability to identify customer needs and articulate the desired solution.An acute awareness of industry expectations around protecting both ANZ and customer from privacy breaches, regulatory infractions; or any other non-financial risk events

Critical thinking and ability to multi-task and work under pressure, navigate multiple systems and processes seamlessly during customer interactions. Problem-solving and documentation skills, curious mindset to explore new approaches that optimize team performance and improve customer service. An unwavering motivation to grow and develop a fulfilling career within the Banking IndustryFamiliarity with small business and commercial banking products and systems, along with prior customer service experience is desired.
