Description:

BI Solution Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using tools like Power BI, SSRS, and Qlik.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Data Analysis & Visualization:

  • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Create visualizations that effectively communicate data findings.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize data processing and report performance.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and quality assurance checks.

Mentorship & Leadership:

  • Guide junior BI developers and promote best practices.
  • Contribute to governance structures including source control and release management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI development and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX, Power BI, SSRS, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and ETL processes.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Snowflake) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in BI tools or platforms (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling and machine learning concepts.
