Role Overview:

The Senior Field Engineer plays a key role in managing on-site construction activities and ensuring that projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, safety standards, and schedule. The position also involves supervising junior engineers and coordinating with the project team to resolve site-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure quality and safety compliance
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, technical specifications, and method statements
  • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and QA/QC personnel
  • Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure timely execution of work packages
  • Support in site documentation, including daily reports, work inspections, and material usage
  • Lead troubleshooting of technical issues on-site and implement corrective actions
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their development

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer
  • At least 5 years of experience in site engineering, supervision, or field execution
  • Strong background in geotechnical projects
  • Proficient in project documentation, MS Office, and basic engineering software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Willing to be assigned on-site, with flexible deployment depending on project needs
