JOB SUMMARY:

A general housekeeping manager is a professional who oversees all aspects of a hospitality establishment's cleanliness, organization, and maintenance to ensure a positive guest experience. Key responsibilities include managing staff, developing cleaning schedules, monitoring and ordering supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining the property's aesthetic standards to uphold its reputation and profitability.

Required Qualifications:

1.    Must be a HRM graduate or any related course.

2.    Must have at least 5 years work experience as Housekeeping Manager.

3.    Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with staff and guests.

4.    Knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting.

5.    A strong understanding of cleaning standards and procedures.

6.    Strong leadership and managerial skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.    Quality Control: Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and staff spaces to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and order.

2.     Inventory Management: Overseeing the stock of cleaning supplies, linen, and equipment, and managing the purchasing of these items.

3.    Operational Efficiency: Developing and implementing efficient cleaning schedules and processes for daily operations.

4.    Compliance: Ensuring the department adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
