Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Housekeeping Manager to ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas in line with hotel standards. This role involves supervising Room Attendants, coordinating maintenance, handling guest feedback, and supporting training and development of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate room assignments based on daily operations.
  • Supervise cleaning and upkeep of rooms and public areas.
  • Handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and special cleaning projects.
  • Monitor equipment condition and liaise with Engineering.
  • Lead and document staff training & development.
  • Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members.
  • Oversee operations in the absence of the department head.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in housekeeping supervision (hotel industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to manage a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
