Work Set Up: Onsite

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our software products. This role involves collaborating with the development team to understand requirements, designing and executing test cases, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining test documentation.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborating with the software development team to understand product, story, feature, and bug requirements, and preparing test cases accordingly

  • Working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues

  • Designing and executing test cases and scripts to assess functionality, usability, and performance while identifying areas for improvement

  • Re-executing test cases to ensure previous issues are resolved and the software is functioning correctly

  • Maintaining test cases, test scripts, test reports, and documentation

  • Participating in Agile-Scrum development processes and providing feedback for continuous improvement

  • Staying updated with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software testing

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Test Engineer

  • Experience in manual and automated testing using tools like Playwright and Selenium, with JavaScript or TypeScript

  • Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, Apache JMeter, and SoapUI

  • Hands-on experience in planning, designing, writing, and executing test cases and scripts

  • Familiarity with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, Redmine, GitHub, and GitLab

  • Strong understanding of Agile-Scrum methodologies

  • Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing
