About the role

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join our team at Good Pastry Café in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Contract Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages for our customers in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty coffee creations
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience
  3. Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all equipment and utensils are in good working order
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest coffee trends and brewing techniques to continually enhance the café's offerings
  5. Assist with inventory management and ordering of coffee and related supplies
  6. Collaborate with the café team to contribute to the overall success and growth of the business

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality or food and beverage industry
  2. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, flavour profiles, and equipment
  3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
  4. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  5. Passion for the coffee industry and a commitment to providing a high-quality customer experience
  6. Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays as required
