Area: Cebu/ Visayas

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Promotes food raw materials currently represented by the Company to Food Industry and check areas for possible business development.
  2. Conducts regular visits to clients, develops good business relationships to key persons & decision makers as indicated in the Territory Coverage Plan.
  3. Develop new projects and request for samples to be submitted to clients, arrange technical presentations if needed, checks for new requirements, and negotiates for orders.
  4. Arranges client visits /virtual meetings with principals and provides all the necessary assistance during the visit.
  5. Effectively negotiates business offer to customers within the prescribed pricing limit or otherwise approved by Business Unit Manager.
  6. Submits needed reports such as supplier's monthly activity reports and local market activities.
  7. Assists the accounting department with payment follow ups and provides inputs on financial standing of assigned accounts.
  8. Conducts research on information related to food (developments, market trends, innovations) and monitors competition by gathering current market information on pricing, existing and new products and marketing strategies.
  9. Assist customer complaints in coordination with the technical sales coordinator to ensure that after sales services are being given to clients.
  10. Provide technical support and assistance to customers in production trial, product application and other related concerns when needed.

Job Qualifications:

* With Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry & other related fields.

* At least two (2) years experience in Sales or related field 

* With good organizational skills juggling various tasks necessary to develop the business

* With excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

* Proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel

* With good interpersonal abilities and compatibility in medium sized company/ workplace

* Proactive, with strong drive and motivation

* Knows how to drive and with driver's license

* Willing to travel and work in Cebu

* Proficient in Cebuano/Visayan dialect
