Role Overview:

• Drives sourcing, negotiation, contracting and supplier relationship processes as per Category/ local strategy

• Manages across local BUs the identification of procurement initiatives, gets visibility on bids/projects (requiring 3rd party involvement) and leads procurement contribution

• Participates in analyzing supplier performances

• Shares the country category action plan with the operational stakeholders

• Owns specific savings initiatives and associated savings or other targets / objectives

• Monitors process adherence across work perimeter and escalates as needed

• Has deeper knowledge in the P2P processes

• Identifies and reports process improvements

• Coordinates/supports junior professionals in process adherence and problem solving

General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Provides services according to the scope assigned by the Category to meet specific KPIs

• Drives small spend RFx

• Executes sourcing strategies to obtain quotations to meet internal Stakeholders requirements

• Ensures correlation between contract, quotes and Purchase Requisition during the validation process

• Responsive to local Stakeholders in solving day-to-day sourcing activities

• Maintains relationship with Stakeholders across functions

• Negotiates best price for spot buy

• Contracts on local templates

• Contributes to the supplier maintenance process and identifies potential preferred suppliers / updates prefers supplier list (PSL)

• Coordinates and manages supplier claims

• Accountable for process compliance within the work perimeter

• Proactively contributes to Global Strategy compliance

• Proactively contributes with local input to global categories strategies

• Proactively contributes to Category Sourcing strategy including forecasting, identification, delivery and reporting of savings

• Acts to overall procurement policies and processes

• Supports junior professionals in day-to-day activities Skills (competencies)
