Job Summary

The Accounting Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company's financial operations by ensuring accuracy in accounting records, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budget monitoring and analysis. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant group environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Monitor daily sales reports, inventory costs, and expense allocations across multiple restaurant branches.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payables, receivables, and other accounting transactions.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Support in preparing tax filings and compliance reports in coordination with external auditors or government agencies.
  • Review financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for cost control.
  • Coordinate with branch accountants and operations teams to ensure proper financial documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial data and records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis (restaurant or retail industry experience is an advantage).
  • Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to work onsite in Makati City.
