As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the operational revenue accounting function, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and driving process improvements across the Order-to-Cash cycle. Key responsibilities include:

• Execute monthly and quarterly revenue accounting close procedures, encompassing revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled receivables, and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and post journal entries, perform account reconciliations, conduct detailed analysis, and generate internal reporting related to the close process.
• Manage the revenue recognition process for Professional and Training Services, including the maintenance of relevant projects.
• Ensure the accuracy of all revenue streams related to Hardware, embedded Software, and associated Support.
• Assist in configuring SKUs in NetSuite with the appropriate revenue recognition rules and setup.
• Support the Accounts Receivable team during month-end by reviewing and validating Sales Orders, contracts, and Purchase Orders within NetSuite.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of invoice generation.
• Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits by providing documentation and responses to external auditor requests.
• Contribute to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance by preparing documentation for internal controls around the Order-to-Cash cycle and revenue recognition; participate in SOX testing as required.
• Participate in system and process optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Provide support on special projects and other revenue-related initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of revenue accounting or operational accounting experience, ideally in SaaS, hardware, or technology sectors.
• Strong, practical understanding and application of ASC 606
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
