About the Role:The Contracts Manager will oversee contract lifecycle management, negotiation, risk assessment, and compliance for a global electrical distribution company.

This role ensures that contracts align with corporate objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract drafting, supplier agreements, procurement contracts, and risk mitigation in a multinational environment. Key Responsibilities:Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and renewal of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and customers.

Risk Assessment & Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with corporate policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements (e.g., UCC, FCPA, GDPR). Negotiation & Supplier Agreements: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to ensure favorable terms and cost savings. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, procurement, finance, and operations teams to align contract terms with business objectives.

Supply Chain & Procurement Contracts: Manage agreements related to inventory purchasing, logistics, and distribution operations. Vendor & Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with external partners and ensure contract performance aligns with SLAs. Regulatory & Legal Compliance: Stay updated on contract law, trade regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.

Dispute Resolution & Contract Audits: Identify and resolve contract disputes while conducting periodic contract audits to mitigate risks. ERP & Contract Management Tools: Utilize SAP Ariba, Coupa, Icertis, or other CLM software to manage contract workflows. Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (JD or MBA preferred).5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or legal compliance within a global corporation.

Strong understanding of contract law, procurement agreements, and risk mitigation. Experience managing contracts related to supply chain, distribution, and vendor agreements. Proficiency in contract management software (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Icertis, etc.).

Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and trade compliance regulations. Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
