About the role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at BuiltaMart, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of all platforms, contributing to the overall wellness of the organization. BuiltaMart is the leading online grocery platform in Metro Manila and is looking to expand soon.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to identify and resolve software defects
  2. Perform manual and automated testing across various stages of the software development lifecycle
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify and prioritize testing requirements
  4. Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and make recommendations to improve the quality of our software products
  5. Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and best practices
  6. Mentor and train junior QA team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our QA processes

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in the Information & Communication Technology industry
  2. Strong technical skills in manual and automated testing, including experience with popular testing frameworks and tools
  3. Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases, test plans, and test reports
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex software issues
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels
  6. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  7. Proven track record of mentoring and leading junior QA team members
