General Objective of the Job

To sell the largest volume of products to the largest number of customers in the market and industry assigned and to collect all due accounts in accordance with targets. To provide the best service to his customer and ensure that quality of products and services meets customer expectation.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Planning

  • Gathers, collates and reports to Product Manager / Supervisor information and data obtained from the market and customers regarding all aspects of the particular product assigned.
  • Prepares sales plans, forecasts and targets for his assigned market, area and customers.
  • Plans the promotion of assigned product/s thru i.e. brochures, samples demonstrations, etc.
  • Plans customer calls/visits, maximizing time to cover as may customers as possible.
  • Plans and develops prospecting for new clients in cooperation with Product Manager / Supervisor.
  • Plans and develops strategies to collect overdue accounts specific to each customer.

B. Execution

  • Develops and/or upgrades selling and collecting know-how and skills.
  • Acquires basic and continuously upgrade product knowledge and its application.
  • Secures and seeks cooperation of support services i.e. Technical, Distribution & Delivery, Accounting, Administration – to ensure quality of products and services to customers.
  • Prepares actual sales and collection performance reports and analyze variances against plans and forecast.
  • Takes/initiates actions on customer complaints.
  • Provides effective feedback to concerned departments on product quality, quality of service, pricing, market conditions and customer needs/expectations.
  • Prepares and updates customer call/visit schedules-daily, weekly and monthly as needed.
  • Keeps and maintains sales and collection records covering area of responsibility.
  • Operates with care the company car assigned to him/her and ensures that unit is always in good operating condition.
  • Prepares customer correspondences and inter-office memos as needed.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and other related courses
  • Open to Fresh Graduates (Open to learning technical side of the coatings and construction industry)
  • At least 1 year of sales experience within a similar industry (preferably in coatings, chemicals or related industries)
  • With strong communication skills
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledgeable in using computer and applications
  • With Driver's License and can drive
  • Willing to do sales fieldwork
  • Willing for 6-days workweek schedule
  • Amenable to report onsite in Calle Industria, Bagumbayan, Quezon City
