About the role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join the dynamic team at Universal Access & Systems Solutions Inc.'. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees across our Angeles City Pampanga office. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our finance and HR functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Accurately calculating and processing biweekly payroll for all employees, including salaries, wages, deductions, and tax obligations
  • Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring all information is kept up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation
  • Resolving any payroll-related inquiries or issues from employees in a professional and timely manner
  • Preparing and submitting all relevant payroll reports and filings to the appropriate authorities
  • Assisting with the implementation of any payroll system upgrades or changes
  • Collaborating with the finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll operations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a payroll specialist or similar role, preferably within the accounting/finance industry
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll processing, legislation, and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Proficient in using payroll software and various HR/finance systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
