Responsibilities

  • Business development and business management
  • Handle tenders and enquiries effectively and efficiently
  • Coordinate with various departments for the preparation of proposals and quotations
  • Study tender documents and drawings to ensure accurate pricing in quotations
  • Prepare letter of proposals and quotations
  • Prepare engineering method statements
  • Take off quantities
  • Market of company's products and services
  • Visit clients to promote Utracon's businesses
  • Liaise with clients, relevant authorities and consultants
  • Plan and control project resources such as manpower, machinery, equipment, materials, fleet etc.
  • Ensure all designs, drawings & methods are in accordance with relevant specifications
  • Oversee project management and cost control
  • Assist the design engineer / design department in addressing design and technical matters related to post-tensioning
  • Provide support to site operations to ensure smooth execution of works
  • Keep abreast with latest business / technical developments with a view to enhance company's competitive edge and market penetration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year experience in marketing or sales and in the construction field.
  • Experience in post-tensioning is an advantage
  • Candidates who are Licensed Professional Engineers (RCE) will have an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated and willing to work harmoniously as a team.
  • Able to work under pressure to meet the delivery dates set by the clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language
  • Outgoing personality and service-driven with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Proactive and self-motivated in problem-solving
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Strong time and project management skills
  • Basic knowledge of the use of AUTOCAD software
