The Financial and Regulatory Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing financial reporting, and overseeing regulatory requirements. This role requires a keen understanding of financial laws, regulations, and standards, along with the ability to monitor and ensure the organization's adherence to these standards.

Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping:


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.


• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.

Assistance with Financial Reporting:


• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.

Account Reconciliation:


• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial statements.


• Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Data Entry and Analysis:


• Enter financial data into accounting software and maintain databases.


• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making.

Compliance and Audit Support:


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.


• Assist with internal and external audits as required.

Collaboration:


• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support.


• Assist in training new staff on financial processes.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in accounting.


• 3+ years of experience in top 4 audit firm.


• 2+ years of experience in banking finance or general accounting (preferred).


• Knowledgeable in Preparation of BSP Reports


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.


• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
