Responsible for receiving, monitoring, and recording stocks—from receiving, picking, and packing—to ensure inventory accuracy and alignment with the POS system. Also responsible for encoding daily sales transactions and ensuring accurate sales and inventory reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Functions

  1. Accept delivered stocks and verify quantities against delivery documents.

  2. Conduct quality checks on all merchandise received to detect damages, discrepancies, or incorrect barcodes.

  3. Unload merchandise and properly stock shelves with received items.

  4. Ensure all inventory transactions (in/out) are supported with proper POS and warehouse documentation.

  5. Ensure product labels are clear and visible for efficient picking and packing.

  6. Maintain cleanliness and ensure items are free from dust and damage.

  7. Assist in the picking and packing of customer orders.

  8. Conduct monthly physical inventory counts to reconcile with system records.

  9. Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by management.

Sales Encoding Functions

  1. Encode daily sales transactions into the POS/system accurately and on time.

  2. Ensure all sales receipts, invoices, and supporting documents are complete and properly filed.

  3. Monitor and update product codes, prices, and discounts in the POS system when necessary.

  4. Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to management.

  5. Coordinate with the sales and warehouse team to reconcile variances between sales and inventory.

  6. Maintain confidentiality of sales records and company data.

Reports to be Submitted

  1. Daily/Weekly/Monthly Sales Reports.

  2. Monthly Physical Count Report.

  3. List of damaged items for return to the main warehouse.
