Overview

Join a data-driven environmental project where your technical writing and analytical skills will directly support the production of comprehensive scientific reports. You'll play a key role in compiling, analyzing, and interpreting environmental data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and clarity in large-scale monthly reports. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling technical content while working independently.


Job Highlights
  • Role Name: Technical Writer / Data Analyst
  • Monthly Rate: Php 45,000-50,000
  • Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours
  • Schedule: At least 3 hours per day within Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM MST (Denver time)
  • Client Timezone: Mountain Standard Time (Denver, Colorado)
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities
  • Compile and organize scientific data from 21–22 different input sources into comprehensive monthly reports
  • Analyze and interpret data trends including pH levels, sulfate concentrations, and other environmental measurements
  • Write technical summaries comparing current month's data to previous results
  • Follow established report templates and formatting while adapting for new data
  • Create draft reports for review and refinement by senior team members
  • Manage data organization through Google Drive and electronic filing systems
  • Produce approximately 300-page monthly reports with scientific data and analysis
  • Identify data trends and changes, documenting increases, decreases, and variations in measurements

Requirements
  • Strong English language skills with technical writing background
  • Experience with data compilation and analysis
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Google Drive and electronic document management
  • Ability to follow templates while adapting content for new information
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple data inputs
  • Capability to work during overlapping hours with Denver, Colorado time zone
