JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY FUNCTION

Primary responsible to administer Employee Relations functions which includes monitoring and implementation of Labor Law compliance, legal matters coordination, administrative hearing, counseling erring employee, policy development, and employee programs. Being part of the Office Services, part of his job is to monitor the Cleaning Experts and Security Guard deliverables.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Laws concerning employment (labor mandate compliance)
  2. Coordinates, takes minutes of the Labor Relations (LR) and Employee Relations (ER) meetings
  3. Provides assistance to Department Manager in crafting Notice to Explain and Disciplinary Action Notice as prescribed by the Company Code of Conduct (COC)
  4. Provides assistance to Department Manager in drafting case resolution
  5. Collates data, prepares minutes of the meeting on hearing held for distribution to concerned departments/parties
  6. Collects data, review Incident Report in collaboration with Department Manager, collects and review documents for Disciplinary Panel Hearing
  7. In-charge of Administrative Case hearing
  8. Implement COC, memorandums, and other company policies and protocol
  9. Review COC and recommends changes as necessary
  10. Participates in National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) review of cases
  11. Represents the company to DOLE (NLRC and Bureau of Working Conditions)
  12. Ensuring confidentiality of issues, concerns, and cases handled
  13. Ensuring Random Drug Testing compliance in accordance to Company protocol
  14. Certificate of Employment issuance in accordance to Company protocol
  15. Facilitate employment verification in accordance to Company protocol
  16. Keep LR and ER report/files and provide summary report
  17. Monitor, update, and facilitate Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) compliance
  18. Coordinate First Aid and Basic Life Support Training
  19. Roll out DOLE General Labor Standard Compliance and Occupational Safety and Health Standards compliance to Store Operations
  20. Discuss COC as needed
  21. Monitor and consolidate cases under Agency
  22. Supervise ER and Benefits Assistant
  23. Supervise Security Guard and Security issues and concerns
  24. Consolidate report of resigned employees
  25. Resigned employee and clearance processing
  26. Responds to inquiries from Department Manager relating to LR & ER
  27. Identify and recommend employee engagement programs/activities/practices necessary to establish employer-employee relationship and promote high level of morale and motivation (Sportsfest, Blood Donation and Assistance Program, Team Building, Christmas Party, Health and Wellness Activity, Family day -Mother's and Father's day, Halloween Party, Additional Maternity Benefit, and etc.)
  28. Coordinate Blood Assistance request(s) (Philippine Blood Center and Employee)
  29. Facilitate Tax Identification Number (TIN) enrollment for employees without existing TIN and transfer of Revenue District Office
  30. Prepares newsletter and other reports to communicate information about LR and ER
  31. Performs other task that may be assigned from time to time
