Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to source, screen, and place high-quality nurses and allied health professionals into assignments across the United States. The ideal candidate understands the U.S. healthcare system, compliance requirements, and recruiting best practices.
You'll work closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth, efficient hiring process — from sourcing to placement — using ATS systems (Ceipal Healthcare preferred but not required) and various recruiting platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Source qualified Nurses and Allied Health professionals for temporary, travel, and permanent roles
Conduct interviews to assess candidate experience, technical skill sets, and assignment readiness
Manage the recruitment process using ATS (Ceipal Healthcare preferred) and VMS platforms
Ensure candidates meet compliance requirements (licenses, certifications, background checks, immunizations, etc.)
Develop job postings and distribute them on multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, niche healthcare job boards, social media, etc.)
Actively search external databases, social media, and industry-specific networks for potential candidates
Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future openings
Communicate consistently with candidates and hiring managers to ensure excellent service delivery
Track recruitment metrics and report on sourcing effectiveness
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience recruiting in healthcare staffing (nurses and allied health)
Strong knowledge of U.S. healthcare roles, technical skill sets, and industry compliance requirements
Proficient with ATS systems (Ceipal Healthcare experience preferred)
Familiarity with VMS platforms and healthcare job boards
Strong research skills to source candidates from multiple platforms and databases
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications
Experience recruiting travel clinicians
Knowledge of GSA stipend and IRS distance rules for traveler compliance
Background in working with hospitals, public health organizations, or healthcare systems
