DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on tractors, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machinery.
  • Ensure tractors and equipment are in safe, reliable, and optimal working condition to support operations.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, including inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn parts.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and parts used.
  • Follow safety protocols, including proper use of tools, protective gear, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a vocational or TESDA certificate in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Technology (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in tractors, loaders, or other heavy machinery.
  • Skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to handle tools, parts, and heavy equipment repairs.
  • Prior farm or industrial equipment maintenance experience is an advantage.
