The Auto Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair services on various types of vehicles.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and test drives to ensure proper vehicle performance.
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as brakes, bearings, sensors, and other components.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors to communicate repair findings and job estimates.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Attend technical training and stay updated on automotive technologies.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the management.
  • At least 2 to 5 yrs experience as Auto Technician
