The Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM) is responsible for driving sales growth and managing business within large regional accounts, such as hospital systems, distributors, or integrated healthcare networks. The role focuses on developing and maintaining strategic relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering profitable revenue growth aligned with objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and manage the sales budget within assigned regional accounts.

Establish and build senior-level relationships with executives and key stakeholders.

Understand customer decision-making processes, business needs, and operational drivers to protect and grow existing business.

Identify and implement strategic solutions that address customer requirements and market dynamics.

Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely reports on account performance and market trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations) to execute account strategies effectively.

Lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and pricing discussions with customers.

Support marketing initiatives and product launches within the assigned accounts.

Monitor market competition and provide insights for continuous improvement and business strategy alignment.

Ensure full compliance with policies, ethics, and quality standards in all customer interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development.

Proven experience managing large or complex accounts in the healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device industry.

Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, account management, and value-based selling.

Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Willingness to travel frequently across assigned territories.
