This role involves working with business leaders and their leadership teams on a strategic and operational basis, providing insight and input into the development of business strategy and people plans, translating business goals into HR requirements, and driving the implementation of organization and people plans for the respective units.
You'll be responsible for:
- Acting as a strategic business partner to leadership teams, providing input into decisions and plans for the business units, and leading autonomous HR business activities.
- Partnering with leaders to drive change, organizational development, and risk analysis, including the use of data for effective decision-making.
- Partnering with leaders and teams to drive strategic workforce planning and resource management, including mobilization and demobilization.
- Collaborating with the people team to deliver the annual people calendar activities effectively.
- Coordinating with talent attraction teams for recruitment and onboarding.
- Supporting leaders in managing performance, employee relations, wellbeing, engagement, and retention activities.
- Contributing to the reward team, facilitating annual reward reviews aligned with the career framework.
- Developing the business unit's ability to manage performance and conduct issues through disciplinary and grievance policies.
- Supporting career growth for employees via talent management and development initiatives.
- Partnering with business leaders to implement engagement and retention plans aligned with company values and behaviors.
- Participating in HR projects as required.
You'll also have:
- Previous experience in a business partner capacity.
- Advanced professional skills in relationship management, consulting, facilitation, and coaching.
- A good understanding of risk management, strategic thinking, project management, negotiation, influencing, judgment, and decision-making.
- Recognition as a capable HR professional applying theory to practice to solve diverse problems.
- Understanding of the employee lifecycle and how to integrate policies into people plans.
- Expertise in developing people strategies, talent attraction, onboarding, capability building, and reward management.
- Knowledge of managing change, workforce planning, employee experience, inclusive culture, employment law, and organizational design.
