The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of maintenance personnel involved in the repair, upkeep, and functionality of facilities, utilities, and equipment—including tractors and other agricultural or industrial machinery. This role ensures efficient maintenance operations, adherence to safety standards, and the implementation of preventative strategies.


Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance and repair activities for building systems, utilities, and equipment, including tractors and heavy-duty machinery.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and repair procedures to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Inspect and evaluate building infrastructure and mechanical equipment such as tractors to identify issues and schedule timely repairs.
  • Diagnose faults in systems and machinery, including tractor engines, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical components, and determine appropriate repair methods.
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards and maintenance protocols.
  • Manage and monitor the completion of maintenance tasks, ensuring work is done efficiently and to quality standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance budget, control costs, and procure necessary parts, supplies, and tools for both facility and tractor maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines in all maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance services when required.
