Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the manager in managing the overall utility and maintenance operations for the plant to ensure proper generation and distribution to respective departments.
  • Assists the manager in directing and coordinating with industrial plant production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance.
  • Supervises and leads engineers and technicians who design machinery, plan and develop civil projects, and oversee production and quality control.
  • Review maintenance procedures and schedules and support production with preventive maintenance activities.
  • Review section performance and implement improvements to increase productivity of the team.
  • Promotes continuous improvement by implementing beneficial projects contributing to the plant's quality, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Develop strategies and plans for business development in the long run.
  • Assists the manager in performing administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, analyzing variances, and planning for cost savings initiatives.
  • Performs assigned duties and responsibilities with high regards to safety and environment and shall fully adhere to policies on
  • Environment, Health, and Safety while inside the facility premises.
  • Reports quality and food safety issues and any potential or actual emergency to the immediate superior or authorized/designated person.
  • Performs other related duties that may be assigned by his/her superior from time to time
