Overview: Throughout the course of the project, the quantity surveyor maintains cost-effectiveness by providing precise cost estimates and keeping an eye on project expenses. He or she is very proficient in mathematics, has a solid grasp of construction techniques and materials, and is an analytical thinker. ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget, cultivating a creative and productive team with a track record of completing construction projects successfully.

WORKLOCATION: MANDAUE CITY, CEBU

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the quantity surveying team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  2. Cost Estimation: Oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects, utilizing industry best practices, and current market rates.

  3. Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering.

  4. Contract Administration: Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and variations to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and minimize financial risks.

  5. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure project success.

  6. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns, providing regular updates on project costs and progress, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

  7. Team Development: Mentor, coach, and develop team members, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and capabilities.

  8. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of quantity surveying processes and procedures.

  9. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  10. Reporting: Generate accurate and timely reports on project costs, progress, and financial forecasts, providing insights to project stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

· This position may require working both in office and construction site environments.

· Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.

Travel to project sites and client meetings may be necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php35,000.00 per month
