Test, Break, Improve

  • Design, execute, and document manual and automated tests to ensure high product quality and a flawless user experience.
  • Run functional, regression, and exploratory tests on new features and existing flows.
  • Validate checkout flows, payment gateways, product pages, and user journeys — from discovery to conversion.

Cross-Platform Confidence

  • Perform cross-browser and mobile responsiveness testing to ensure consistent experiences across devices and screen sizes.
  • Identify, log, and track bugs with clarity and precision — and follow them through to resolution.

Collaborate & Elevate

  • Work closely with developers and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
  • Partner with the engineering team to implement automated testing where it drives the most impact.
  • Contribute to QA best practices, processes, and documentation to help scale our quality efforts.

Continuous Improvement

  • Provide actionable feedback on UX/UI, performance, and accessibility issues.
  • Stay ahead of emerging testing tools, methodologies, and industry standards to keep our QA capabilities sharp.

Profile Wishlist

  • Proven experience in website or e-commerce QA testing — ideally in a fast-paced startup or product-driven environment.
  • Hands-on experience conducting both manual and automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser and mobile responsiveness testing, including knowledge of key tools and techniques.
  • Solid understanding of front-end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) to better diagnose and communicate issues.
  • Experience testing checkout flows, payment gateways, and product pages with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Experience with Shopify apps, integrations, or Liquid templates, or direct Shopify QA exposure.
