About the Job

  1. Compensation, benefits, and standard governmental compliance duties.

  2. The People Operations Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various governmental regulations, such as SSS, HDMF, DOLE, CDC, and PHIC. This includes accurately maintaining and updating employee records, submitting required reports, and coordinating with relevant government agencies.

  3. Employee lifecycle duties
    .

  4. The People Operations Officer will be responsible to pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding duties of all employees. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of pre-employment requirements, 201 files, and other employee-related records.

  5. Among other tasks, the People Operations Officer will l assist in pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding activities. This will include the preparation of necessary documentation, conducting orientation sessions, RCBC payroll account opening and facilitating the smooth transition of new employees into and out of the organization.

  6. Human resource and administrative duties.

  7. Standard HR tasks and practices will be part of the People Operations Officer's duties. These include the production of Certificates of Employment (COE), Personnel Action Forms (PAF), Evaluations Forms, Employee Surveys, and other administrative paperwork as needed.

  8. The People Operations Officer will assist in email management and employee communication. This includes responding to employee inquiries, forwarding relevant information to appropriate parties, and ensuring timely and professional communication.

  9. Payroll and timekeeping tasks
    .

  10. The People Operations Officer will involve assisting in timekeeping activities, including monitoring attendance, tracking leaves, and ensuring accurate recording of employee work hours. This will involve collaborating with relevant stakeholders to address any timekeeping-related issues promptly.

  11. Knowledge and expertise in Payplus as a timekeeping software is an advantage but not a requirement. Training will be provided by the company.

  12. Employee Relations and Grievances

  13. The People Operations Officer will assist in the preparation, issuance of Notice to Explain or Disciplinary actions as assigned by the Head of People Operations

  14. Other related duties as required. As a versatile professional, the People Operations Officer will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of People Operations, the VP of People & Culture and/or other relevant stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability are key qualities for success in this role.

Your Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field are an advantage but not required.
  • Technology Elite prides itself in valuing skill, experience, and work ethic. Degrees are nice to have but not the only criteria for selection.
  • Proven experience in HR roles, with a focus on compliance, employee lifecycle, and administrative tasks.
  • Knowledgeable on DOLE regulations & Philippine Labor laws
  • Strong knowledge of governmental regulations, such as SSS, DOLE, CDC, and PHIC.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management is a must.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in email management and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good conversational English
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) is a big plus.
