Please note that this role requires onsite work at our office in Clark Pampanga for 3x a week.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced 
Payroll
 
Accountant
 with a strong background in 
Australian accounting standards
 to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 
3 years of hands-on experience
 working with Australian businesses or clients and a solid understanding of local compliance, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

This role is perfect for someone highly organized, proactive, and committed to delivering accurate and timely financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with 
    Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including 
    accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
  • Assist with 
    BAS, GST, payroll, and superannuation
     reporting and lodgements
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Collaborate with external accountants, auditors, or regulatory bodies as required
  • Ensure compliance with 
    ATO regulations
     and deadlines
  • Perform variance analysis and assist in budgeting and forecasting
  • Identify opportunities for improving internal processes and financial reporting

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 
    3 years accounting experience with Australian clients or companies
  • Strong understanding of 
    Australian tax laws, ATO compliance, and reporting requirements
  • Experience using Australian accounting software (e.g. 
    Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online
    )
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team

Preferred:

  • CPA or working towards CPA/CA qualification
  • Previous experience in an Australian accounting or bookkeeping firm
  • Familiarity with Single Touch Payroll (STP) and SuperStream
