Our Alliance Abroad brand is looking to hire two Support Specialists to work Eastern Standard (US) hours based in the Philippines.

This Support Specialist will support our Bridge USA summer Work Travel, Intern, and Trainee program participants.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support exchange visitors during their program, to ensure they receive information, support, and exceptional customer services.
- Provide virtual orientation to make sure exchange visitors are aware of local area resources, program expectations, and support available to them during their program.
- Research and Promote cultural events and activities to facilitate cultural exchange opportunities for all exchange visitors.
- Ensure legal compliance and proper reporting to the U.S. Department of State regulations.
- Participation in on-call schedule for emergency after-hours phone calls.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Required – Minimum
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in the customer service industry or related international, cultural exchange or educational program industry.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills - must be comfortable working with people from around the globe, understanding cultural nuances and needs and acting accordingly.
- Must be a positive, pro-active, solutions-oriented person willing to innovate and facilitate the success of the company and relationships with host employers.
- Good proficiency with computers including use of MS Office.
- Good verbal and written proficiency in English plus one or more other languages is strongly desired.
- A personal interest in travel, experiential learning, and other cultures desired.
- A stable internet connection and access to a backup power source (such as a generator) are required for this position. A company laptop will be provided.
