Part-Time Virtual Assistant (Events, Marketing & Admin Support)
We're looking for a proactive and organized Virtual Assistant to support with events, communications, and social media on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
Event & Meeting Coordination
- Send invites, reminders, and track RSVPs
- Follow up with sponsors, panellists, and attendees
- Manage event setup (Eventbrite/Humanitix) and run sheets
- Sync attendees to Mailchimp post-event
Communication & Email Support
- Draft outreach, thank-you, and follow-up emails
- Manage member/volunteer queries and newsletters (Mailchimp)
- Maintain email templates and inbox responses
Social Media & Marketing
- Repurpose and schedule posts (Meta Suite/Buffer)
- Create simple Canva graphics and captions
- Track and report on engagement
Membership & Sponsorship Admin
- Update member database (Airtable/Google Sheets)
- Send welcome and renewal emails
- Maintain sponsorship tracker and grant folders
Tools Used
Canva · Mailchimp · Meta Suite · Google Workspace · Airtable · Zapier
Requirements
- 1–2 years VA or marketing/admin experience
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Familiar with social media scheduling and email tools
Role Details
- Hours: Initially 5 Hours per week
- Schedule: Preferably aligned with Australian time zone
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
