Part-Time Virtual Assistant (Events, Marketing & Admin Support)

We're looking for a proactive and organized Virtual Assistant to support with events, communications, and social media on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Meeting Coordination

  • Send invites, reminders, and track RSVPs
  • Follow up with sponsors, panellists, and attendees
  • Manage event setup (Eventbrite/Humanitix) and run sheets
  • Sync attendees to Mailchimp post-event

Communication & Email Support

  • Draft outreach, thank-you, and follow-up emails
  • Manage member/volunteer queries and newsletters (Mailchimp)
  • Maintain email templates and inbox responses

Social Media & Marketing

  • Repurpose and schedule posts (Meta Suite/Buffer)
  • Create simple Canva graphics and captions
  • Track and report on engagement

Membership & Sponsorship Admin

  • Update member database (Airtable/Google Sheets)
  • Send welcome and renewal emails
  • Maintain sponsorship tracker and grant folders

Tools Used

Canva · Mailchimp · Meta Suite · Google Workspace · Airtable · Zapier

Requirements

  • 1–2 years VA or marketing/admin experience
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong organization and attention to detail
  • Familiar with social media scheduling and email tools

Role Details

  • Hours: Initially 5 Hours per week
  • Schedule: Preferably aligned with Australian time zone

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
