Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring food quality, managing kitchen staff, maintaining health and safety standards, and controlling inventory and costs. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen staff and activities.
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented according to company standards and health regulations.
  • Manage food and labor costs to meet budget goals.
  • Oversee kitchen inventory, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
  • Train, schedule, and evaluate kitchen staff performance.
  • Enforce sanitation and safety procedures to comply with food handling regulations.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle any kitchen-related customer complaints or issues.
  • Develop and update kitchen policies, procedures, and recipes as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Chef, or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • ServSafe or other food safety certification (required or preferred depending on location).
