Job Title: Financial Fraud Detection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Fraud Detection Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our financial systems against illegal activities such as money laundering, terrorism financing, and fraud.

About the Role:

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that involves monitoring transactions, verifying customer and business identities (KYC and KYB), collaborating with partner banks, and reporting suspicious activities to the Chief Compliance Officer. You will adhere to internal procedures and meet performance metrics, focusing on processing time and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify customer and business identities through Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) processes.
  • Monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report any findings to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Collaborate with partner banks to share information and best practices in preventing financial crimes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of global Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations and practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or law.
  • Proficiency in English required.
  • Knowledge of global AML/CFT practices.
  • Experience with KYC and KYB processes.
  • Experience in transactions monitoring and EDD processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
