Job Title: Digital Building Integration Specialist

Job Description:

The Digital Building Integration Specialist is responsible for ensuring clients and partners receive high-quality fault detection and diagnostics products.

  • The specialist collaborates with onboarding projects to communicate timelines and milestones effectively, guaranteeing analytics fulfills its role in a timely manner at a high level of quality.
  • The specialist conducts onboarding activities such as installing Data Collection Services, discovering data, and organizing for Digital Building Engineers.
  • The specialist assists in troubleshooting Diagnostics to perform automated fault detection on customer's HVAC equipment.
  • The specialist reviews requests to validate the results reported by the software.
  • The specialist trains and engages customer and partner users specific to the Data Transfer Service, data connectivity, and related networking issues.
  • The specialist provides ongoing support of connected sites.
Requirements:
  • Comfortable grasping new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills with customers and partners.
  • Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree, or 5-6 years related industry experience.
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience in HVAC, controls, or fault detection and diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with BAS protocols such as BACnet, Haystack, oBIX, and Modbus.
  • Familiarity with BAS networking principles.
  • Ideal candidate has exposure to automated ongoing commissioning, fault detection and diagnostics, performance measurement and verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in mechanical engineering (or a related technical degree) with an interest in building systems, or significant field experience in a controls or services company serving the buildings industry.
  • Certificate or equivalent experience in basic networking or computer fundamentals.
  • Learns technical solutions quickly and thoroughly.
  • Can communicate complex information effectively to customers over the phone and through emails.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
