Financial Crime Prevention Specialist

The role of Financial Crime Prevention Specialist plays a pivotal part in safeguarding the organization from illicit financial activity and minimizing related costs. You will oversee adequate Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring controls to meet regulatory expectations and satisfy those of payment processing partners, as well as comply with AML requirements defined by relevant authorities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operational tasks for fraud monitoring and prevention to identify and combat financial crime/AML risk.
  • Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on clients presenting unusual behaviors to identify and combat market/financial risk.
  • Communicate professionally with clients about suspicious, unusual, and/or unreconciled activities in ways that avoid tipping off clients into potential investigations.
  • Review and analyze financial transactions for potentially fraudulent activity.
  • Utilize monitoring tools and systems to identify unusual patterns or trends.
  • Investigate and identify potential cases of financial crime or suspicious behavior.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in fraud prevention and investigation is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Self-driven and proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to manage workloads and perform well under pressure.
