Job Description

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in specifying IT solutions to meet the strategic, financial and operational needs of clients. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert consultancy and advice to external and internal business units.

You will analyze external and internal requirements and define solutions to be provided by the most suitable technical application or combination of applications. This will involve fully documenting functional and technical solutions, obtaining customer approval prior to technical development, and ensuring updated system support documentation is produced at the time of implementation.

In addition, you will provide business and functional support to the technical team during development, and test programs after completion to ensure compliance with the specification.

Supporting existing customer migrations and new customer implementations of new systems, enhancements, and business information is also a key aspect of this role. You will provide consultancy, demonstrations, support, and training as required on an individual basis or at customer meetings and forums.

Another important duty is to investigate operational problems, identify causes, and support the testing and implementation of corrections. You will also build and maintain test libraries to support manual and automated regression testing.

Finally, you will provide expert product support and demonstrations to the sales force when required.
