Senior Solutions Developer Position

Phitopolis International Corp. is an IT company based in BGC, Taguig. We engage our sponsors in the fields of Financial Quantitative Research, Data Science and Engineering, DevOps, Applications Development, and High-Performance Computing.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Solutions Developer to drive technical vision and execution of innovative solutions that align with key business needs. In this client-facing role, you will leverage your deep expertise in system design to assess complex business problems and architect scalable, effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop multi-tier architectures within cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, gather business requirements, and translate them into a clear architectural vision.
  • Evaluate project constraints to identify potential risks and alternatives, performing process re-engineering where necessary to ensure success.
  • Guide and supervise development teams, implementing best practices for software design, integration, security, and deployment.
  • Conduct architectural reviews to ensure solutions are performant, scalable, and align with enterprise standards.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and IT, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of designing and deploying enterprise-level software solutions that meet specific business goals.
  • Wide-ranging technical expertise across IT infrastructure, software architecture design, cloud development, and DevOps.
  • Strong proficiency in architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing paradigms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Desirable Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and message-driven architectures.
  • Experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform).
