Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Assistant to support our legal operations team.

  • This role involves providing administrative assistance, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • The ideal candidate will provide essential support in managing internal records, scheduling, and client conflict resolution.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our dynamic team to maintain operational efficiency and ensure effective communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Support: Provide comprehensive support to the legal team, including administrative assistance, coordination of tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Internal Records Management: Conduct regular reviews of internal records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Training Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule training sessions for staff members, ensuring that training programs are well-organized, communicated effectively, and all necessary resources and materials are prepared.
  • Scheduling and Reporting: Manage and prepare fortnightly schedules and reports, including tracking progress on key initiatives and summarizing operational activities.
  • Client Conflict Resolution: Track and manage client conflict resolution efforts, including recording issues, monitoring resolution progress, and ensuring that conflicts are resolved in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • An Associate's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role is essential.
  • Experience in operations support, record management, or client service is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications in administrative support or legal assistance are a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace) is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion is critical.
  • Detailed-oriented individuals with strong problem-solving abilities are ideal candidates.
