Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and at least 5 years of experience in construction management.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, creating, and maintaining construction projects from start to finish. This includes conducting site inspections, preparing project documents, supervising subcontractors, and preparing project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage and oversee construction projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Site Inspection: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare project-related documents, including method statements, inspection requests, and non-conformance reports.
  • Subcontractor Management: Supervise and manage subcontractors, including their equipment and manpower.
  • Scheduling: Prepare project schedules, including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly plans.
  • Estimating: Prepare estimates for materials and labor required for projects.
  • Client Communication: Attend meetings with clients and consultants to discuss project progress and address any concerns.

Requirements

  • Civil Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Construction Experience: At least 5 years of experience in construction management or related field.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
