Job Title: Automation Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as the backbone of our automation efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on streamlining processes, connecting systems, and enabling teams to work smarter.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cross-platform automations that integrate n8n, Airtable, Microsoft Power Automate/Power Query, and various APIs (JIRA, Basecamp, and others). Key responsibilities include partnering with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with operations and cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, design workflows, and implement process improvements.
  2. Build and maintain automated workflows using n8n, ensuring efficient and reliable execution across multiple business systems.
  3. Connect and synchronize Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and other SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows.
  4. Develop and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  5. Create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to eliminate manual work.
  6. Monitor automated workflows, troubleshoot errors, and optimize performance for reliability and scalability.
  7. Maintain clear documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience with n8n workflow automation, strong proficiency in Airtable, skilled in Power Automate and Power Query, hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON, and familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp.

Bonus qualifications include experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python).
