Financial Analyst Needed

Our dynamic team is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support fast-growing businesses in the jewelry retail industry. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate financial records, streamline transaction processing, and contribute to key automation initiatives using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other financial tools.

This role requires someone highly adaptable and comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced environment. Experience in retail bookkeeping is preferred, and you must be ready to make a meaningful impact through operational excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions in QuickBooks Online accurately.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain an organized general ledger.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, identifying discrepancies.
  • Provide retail accounting support, including:
    • Inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration.
    • Assist with the financial nuances of jewelry sales, returns, and vendor purchasing.
  • Utilize Bill.com for vendor payments and support payroll administration.
  • Assist with reporting and financial analysis tasks, including generating financial statements.
  • Collaborate with the CFO team on forecasting and budgeting efforts.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in retail or e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com required.
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
