The role of a Retail Support Specialist involves delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with questions and recommendations, providing personalized service to drive sales growth.
  • Manage sales transactions efficiently, working assigned cash registers to meet productivity standards.
  • Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets, adhering to established protocols.
  • Ensure the store remains well-stocked, recovering merchandise and maintaining a visually appealing environment.
  • Receive and unload merchandise from trucks, supporting stock replenishment efforts in accordance with productivity standards.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and respectful work environment by maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, colleagues, and leaders.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, removing trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; previous retail experience is highly valued.
  • Strong ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
  • Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are essential.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills are necessary for success in this role.
