Diamond Specialist

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Diamond Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in fine jewelry and gemstones, enjoys helping people, and is eager to build a career in luxury retail. As a Diamond Specialist, you will assist customers in selecting engagement rings, loose diamonds, and other fine jewelry, while providing a warm, informative, and professional experience.

• Learn and explain the 4 Cs of diamonds (cut, color, clarity, carat) and other product features
• Assist clients with product selection and customization options
• Support in-store operations, including restocking, display maintenance, and visual merchandising
• Process transactions using POS systems accurately and securely
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training
• Build client relationships and encourage repeat business through follow-up and service
• Handle high-value merchandise with care and professionalism

Qualifications:

• No prior experience required — training will be provided
• High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or interest in gemology, fashion, or retail is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Willingness to learn about diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry craftsmanship
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn retail systems
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
